ReplyDeleteThese are interesting questions because they are a mixture of questions about Sir Edmund Hillary's work and achievements (questions 1 and 1) and his personal life (questions 3, 4, and 5). It is always interesting to find out about famous people's personal lives - then we often realise they are just like us!
Your question about Sir Ed's work in Nepal is a particularly good one. He did a lot of work setting up a hospital in a place called Kunde. My friend worked there for a while. You can read more about his work on this website:
