I would love to go and check out the Tane Mahuta one day because i love to learn different stuff about different country's and culture and i heard they also call it "lord of the forest"! But now the only problem is when will i go there?
I am a student at Wigram Primary School. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

Hi Anica, I really liked the fact that you have mentioned how you love to learn about different cultures! I would also love to see the Tāne Mahuta tree, especially because of its outstanding height.
ReplyDeleteWhy do you think they named the tree 'Lord of the Forest' and what does this name remind you of? I would also be very interested to know what you would name the tree if it did not have a name.
Looking forward to hearing back from you Anica :)
Maybe i think why they call it "lord of the forest" is probably because of its height
ReplyDeleteI don't really what i should name it if it didn't have a name i think it already has a great name for it!
