. You can be with the animals
.You can learn new plants or animals you've never heard of or seen
.You can live in Great Barrier Island
Bad things about being a DOC
.Your living away from your family
.You might get scratched by an animal that has very sharp claws
.You might get bit by a fish while swimming in the lake
I would probably like to be a DOC but the only problem is that i'm probably going to be away from my family and i will miss them. and i was planning to be nurse but if i didn't want to be nurse i could be a DOC
Hi Anica,
ReplyDeleteWell done on completing all three activities for Day 3 of the Summer Learning Journey!
I like how you have thought deeply about the pros and cons of becoming a DOC ranger. It is also great to know that you are willing to become a nurse in the future - both jobs need lots of hard work and dedication! Dedication means to feel strong towards something that you have faith in. If you do become a DOC ranger, it would be sharing the same type of love and care you have towards saving meaningful human lives!
What is your favourite animal Anica? Do you have any pets at home? I personally love elephants and horses but they are WAY TOO BIG to have inside my house!
Looking forward to hearing back from you :)
From Susie
My favourite animals are wolves and red pandas but if i had a wolf in my house i would always have to go to the supermarket to but meat for it or it will eat me! I don't have any pets which is sad but in the Philippines me and my family had 2 love birds but sadly the other one died of sickness and the other one that was left was depressed and died and i miss them...
