I am very sorry if me and my untie have got this maths problem wrong
my untie said times 365 with 3 and see what you =
The number i got was 1,045 but 1,000 is 1 litre
so maybe the answer is

If i get this wrong its okay as long as i tried my best
Stay positive!

  1. Yes, it is very important to stay POSITIVE at all times even when we get something wrong. Making a mistake simply means that we have an extra chance to learn!
    It is great to see that you have mentioned how 1,000 millilitre is equal to 1 litre. Well done Anica.

    I will give you an explanation of how this problem works so please have a look and do not hesitate to ask me if you have any questions.

    * We are giving 3ml of water to the cactus plant every day for a year. In a year, there are 365 days.
    * Each day, we need 3 ml of water and there are 365 days.
    * This means we will need to plus '3 ml' 365 times to figure out how much water we need in total. To do it the easier/quicker way, we can times 365 by 3. (Well done on figuring this out!)

    * 365 x 3 = 1095.

    There are lots of different ways to solve '365 x 3' but the most easiest way is to think of it this way!

    If we split the number 365 according to its place value, 365 is exactly the same as 300, 60 and 5 put all together. So... 365 x 3 is

    * 300 x 3 = (900)
    * 60 x 3 = (180)
    * 5 x 3 = (15)
    put all together! If we add all of these numbers together (900 + 180 + 15), the answer would be 1095. Does it all make sense? :)

    Remember the question has asked us to give the answer in millilitres (ml) so there is no need to worry about litres (L) for this question. The answer would be '1,095 millilitres'.
