Day 5 activity 1
I think that logging shouldn't be allowed in New Zealand because they cut down the trees which are the habitat of other animals and birds that live and nest on trees. And Mother nature is sad because a lot of people are littering on the streets, forests, schools, oceans, lakes, seas and ponds that's why we should save the environment. Like stop littering and put the right rubbish in the right bin whether its recyclable or waste so we can live a healthy and Happy environment. And if we cut the trees especially in summer we dont have much shade and we might get sun burnt!

Kia ora Anica,
ReplyDeleteYou raise some good points about why we shouldn't cut down too many trees. They are very important for shade in the summer. Christchurch can get very hot and sunny in summer can't it?
Did you know that trees convert carbon dioxide (gas that we breathe out) into oxygen (gas that we breathe in and need to survive)? So they are VERY important for us!
As you say, they are also part of the habitat of a lot of birds and animals.
