I am a student at Wigram Primary School. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Day 2: Sports & Leisure(Activity 1) Practice
Today someone from Summer Learning Journey came to our School and explained to us the tasks, points and things we needed to do. Today one of our tasks were to choose an activity, I chose this one

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

Mōrena Anica!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Mikey. I'm a member of the Summer Learning Journey team this year and I'll be commenting on some of your blog posts over the summer holiday. It's so great to see that you've made a start on the teaser week activities - well done! :)
You've come up with some really thoughtful similes here, Anica. Sunflowers are my favourite flowers so I think I'd have to pick that one as my favourite. I do really like how you've drawn on one of the other Summer Learning Journey activities though ('the Kahikatea tree is a as tall as the BFG') - very clever. :) Do you like creatuve writing?
Congratulations on completing your first task! Remember that the programme officially begins on Monday (December 16th), so be sure to check out the Week 1 activities then. In the meantime, have a wonderful day and weekend, and I will hopefully be seeing more Summer Learning Journey posts from you soon.
Mā te wā,
Mikey
Hi Mikey, It's nice to know that you will be commenting on my blog for some of my blog posts. Thank you for complimenting my similes I really like creative writing, I also like Information Reports because you can read something and you can write about like what happened and all the information, the topic in there I like especially is Pollution. We did one in 2017 I loved it, it was one of the best writing activities we did in that year.
